HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) Fuel Tankers are used by the Army to provide transport capabilities for re-supply of combat vehicles and weapons systems. More specifically, the M978 2500 Gallon HEMTT Fuel Tanker is used to provide a rapidly deployable mobile fueling station for the Army. When dealing with a primary vessel containing such a large capacity of fuel, Spill Containment should be a primary consideration for the safety of personnel and the environment. Tri-Star OPS Spill Containment System for HEMTT Fuel Tankers

Tri-Star OPS is a one-piece steel spill containment system.  The entire system is constructed of 1/4″ steel. Heavy-Duty Steel Ramps are used to enter and exit the system. Drain Ports are installed on all four corners of the containment sump. Filter Boxes can be attached to any of the four drain ports to allow water to be safely drained from the system. Tri-Star OPS dimensions are 40′ x12′ x 10″. System spill capacity is 2,900 gallons. Tri-Star OPS’s are shipped via Wide-Load Truck and are installed and relocated by crane. 5 Tri-Star OPS Systems can be shipped per truck.

Tri-Star MAX Spill Containment System for HEMTT Fuel Tankers

Tri-Star MAX is a steel spill containment system constructed of six 7′ panels. The six panels are sealed with gasket and caulking then bolted together.  The entire system is constructed of 1/4″ steel. Heavy-Duty Steel Ramps are used to enter and exit the system. Drain Ports are installed on all four corners of the containment sump. Filter Boxes can be attached to any of the four drain ports to allow water to be safely drained from the system. Tri-Star MAX dimensions are 42′ x13′ x 9″. System spill capacity is 2,850 gallons. Tri-Star MAX is shipped via standard Flatbed Truck. 2 Tri-Star MAX Systems can be shipped per truck.
